My personal collection of artwork that I’ve had the honor to work on.

Twilight!

While having the opportunity to work on another huge blockbuster film, I designed the MySpace.com, Yahoo Movie, and MovieTickets.com takeovers. The media buy was one of the largest I’ve ever encountered with over one billion impressions purchased. It’s save to say over 700 million +  people saw my work on this project…and that’s exciting!

New Portfolio Feature: The Dark Knight

The Dark Knight | Joker Quad

So I received a phone call from my agent a few weeks back regarding an opportunity to work in Burbank at a creative agency and help them with several projects. Now when I get phone calls from my agency I get pretty excited since I have a good relationship with them and they know what kind of jobs I like. To make a long story short, I got to work on some art for the upcoming Dark Knight movie. By contract I couldn’t release the artwork on my site or anywhere else for that matter but now since the world has seen it…I can showcase it as well.

Enjoy!

Warner Brothers

A creative agency in Hollywood by the name of Pongo had called me up to work on a project for Nancy Drew courtesy of Warner Brothers. I wish there was more to add to this but the excitement stopped there since I can’t say I had the chance to work on the Warner Brothers infamous lot in Burbank. Instead, I worked from my home office in Studio City.

My assignment was to 1. Build excitement about an exclusive special edition version of Nancy Drew called Nancy Drew: Drew’s Clues that was available exclusively On Demand (and Pay-Per-View). 2. Generate new subscriptions (email addresses) for the VOD/PPV newsletter and 3.Provide an opportunity for VOD/PPV clients to participate in a film themed promotion. The result? MGM Studios

MGM? This one caught me off guard. I received a call from my agent letting me know I had an opportunity to work at MGM for 2 months in the MGM | HD division down in Beverly Hills, Century City. I wasn’t even aware that MGM had such a division. I mean I wasn’t surprised, but I just wasn’t aware. I looked at this opportunity for a great chance to get a big film studio under my belt and work with some great people. Needless to say, while working on MGMHD.com, I had a chance to sit next to legendary Art Leonardi (the original creator and animator of the Pink Panther).

Some of my duties at MGM included making sure the production and design of mgm.com and MGMHD.com were crisp. A lot of color correcting, photo finishing, retouching, resizing, and optimizing images along with designing featured images for the “in Primetime” section on the site.

If you ever get a chance to get inside this building, check out the 14th floor as it’s something to remember. Call it a media shrine if you wish. This room is filled with countless awards, movie posters, and many other achievements all in one room.

Infiniti

I received a call from one of my agencies last week about an exciting job Downtown LA for the Ghost Agency. I looked at this job as a chance to get back in the city type of environment which I love. While working at the Ghost Agency I was responsible for creating several design comps for Infiniti’s micro site pertaining to their new automobile geared towards successful African American females. You can see some of my samples in the web design section of this site.
